About
In July 1926, the Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Mary Immaculate began staffing a school in the newly formed parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Thérèse at the intersection of Zarzamora & Kentucky.
In May of 1946, the Carmelite Fathers of San Antonio built a new parochial grammar and high school constructed of Indiana Limestone to match the style and material of the Little Flower Basilica.
Today, Little Flower School serves students from the San Antonio area spiritually and educationally, while allowing each student to take part in the depth, beauty, and splendor of the life of St. Thérèse.
The Holy Spirit Sisters administered Little Flower School from 1926 until 2002, when lay administrators began to work in the school.
