We are a hybrid blood bank in Springfield, Missouri that combines aspects of both the public and private cord blood banking systems. In fact, we are the only private cord blood banking system (family banking) within a 500-mile radius of our location—providing families across the Midwest an easy, safe and secure opportunity to save, or donate, their baby's umbilical cord blood and cord tissue.

In the past, doctors would throw away a baby's umbilical cord as medical waste. But now you have an incredible opportunity to save this powerful, natural resource that could one day help your child, their siblings, their grandparents—even yourself. Currently, cord blood is being used to treat over 80 life threatening diseases, and medical researchers are looking to see if cord blood can help with diabetes, autism, cerebral palsy and other degenerative diseases.

We provide you a safe and non-invasive way to take part of this new, and proven, modern medicine opportunity. Collecting your baby's umbilical cord usually only takes a few minutes after you give birth, and it will not interfere with your birth plan. Your partner will still have the opportunity to cut the umbilical cord if they desire, and then your doctor will take care of the rest. Your baby will not undergo anything different than what happens during a delivery where the umbilical cord is not being saved.

There are two ways we can help you save a life with your baby's umbilical cord. You can save your baby's umbilical cord for your family in our private facility. Or you can donate your baby's umbilical cord for someone in need or for medical researchers to find new cures using stem cells from the cord blood and cord tissue.
