The Community Day Center of Waltham provides day shelter and support services to adults who are experiencing homelessness. We strive to create a safe, judgement-free culture that is grounded in hospitality, compassion and mutual respect.

We provide a caring environment where our guests feel safe and supported. At the Community Day Center of Waltham, we know that many of our guests simply need a place to relax, and we create that space by serving a nutritious meal, providing soft, comfy chairs, and the opportunity to read a book, chat with friends, or finish a puzzle. We also know that other guests want the resources that can help them improve their lives. Our case manager and trained student interns can assist with a wide range of services and referrals.

At the Community Day Center of Waltham, we believe that all people, no matter where they are on their life journey, deserve to be treated with dignity. We hold true to the basic tenets of hospitality where the host welcomes the guest with goodwill; and we expect that the guest returns the same level of respect.
