About

I3A is the product of a merger of the Digital Imaging Group (DIG) and the Photographic & Imaging Manufacturers Association (PIMA), with almost 60 years of combined imaging industry leadership.

I3A's member companies are dedicated to developing and promoting the adoption of open industry standards, addressing environmental issues and providing a voice for the industry that will ultimately benefit all users.

As the central forum for the development and advancement of open standards within the imaging industry, I3A takes a broad view of the entire imaging market.

I3A's vision is to enable the use of imaging to simplify and enrich people's lives through visual experiences that connect generations, communities, information and services. I3A drives the global imaging industry towards this future by bringing members together to create standards and collaborate on initiatives that advance the industry and remove barriers to growth.
