Freeland Horticulture are the largest soil supplier in England and Wales, but what makes us different from the rest?

Established in 1993 by George Longmuir, the Country's leading soil scientist and our Managing Director, who had a vision to bring a more scientific approach to the soils market whilst creating a better future for the next generations.

We thrive in providing the best quality soils as well as customer service. We are proud to be soil suppliers to a large number of companies within the Civil Engineering, Construction, Horticulture and Landscaping industries which include the following major projects around the UK:

At Freeland we apply our technical knowledge to any project and currently supply over 400,000m3 of topsoil either loose or in bulk bags every year.

All our sites produce significant quantities of BS3882 certified topsoil which also meet NHBC standards and CLEA model all which are regularly tested by accredited laboratories and reviewed by our expert team. We can also supply a variety of soils to meet your specifications.
