About

Boly Inc. is a global designer and manufacturer of state of the art imaging and renewable energy technology. We focus on trail cameras, action cameras, security cameras, ultrasonic motors and optical zooms. The company was founded in 2000 by Dr. Xiaoping Hu in California and funded by venture capital Acorn Campus of U.S. and Hyundai of Korea. Chenwei Venture became one of the major investors in 2008. Boly Media Communications (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary company of BMC.

After inventing a series of world-leading patents on image processing, such as image scaling (SuperScaling), no-loss data compression, video streaming, motion tracking, etc., BMC has established BolyRAW high-quality image processing technologies. Our major products are digital scouting cameras (ie. "ScoutGuard"), security cameras, ultrasonic motors, and optical zooms, etc. We have won numerous customers in the U.S., Europe, and in the Greater China area and are expanding rapidly across the globe.

In co-operation with Tsinghua University, Boly has invented the world's most compact piezoelectric motor. The patented product series currently cover 3-12mm diameters, applicable for many high value-added markets such as optical lens (auto-focus / zoom), car, robot, medicine equipment, etc.

Boly produces auto-focus camera modules for mobile phones. The BolyAF modules are driven by the mentioned piezoelectric motor and perform excellently in cost, dimension, pixels (3-5MP) and reliability. Possessing a series of world-leading patents and applying modern manufacturing process, Boly stands on the front of the huge camera module market which exceeds 100 millions units alone in China.
