In July of 2024, Dama Financial was acquired by leading wholesale cannabis marketplace, LeafLink.

Dama Financial is wholeheartedly in favor of the SAFE Banking Act in its current form and calls for the passage of this act as soon as possible.

Dama believes that Cannabis Related Businesses (CRBs) deserve complete access to all financial services, just like any other legal business operating in the United States. Over the past three years, Dama has collaborated with the Senate Banking Committee and members of Congress to provide important insights into CRB's financial services needs with the goal of developing a bill that meets the needs of the industry, includes social equity initiatives, garners bipartisan support, and ultimately becomes law. Even with the financial services and compliance shortfalls identified, Dama feels the bill's benefits to the industry far outweigh the need for additional enhancements.
