Originally constructed in the 1690s as a family home, Redworth Hall Hotel has seen to be known as a Grove, House and Hall throughout its lengthy history, before going on to become a school, and later, a hotel as it stands to this day. As a result, it brings a rich cultural heritage to the area that it sits within.
Redworth Hall Hotel stands as one of County Durham's most picturesque places to stay, and being situated just a short distance from main motorways and the Durham dales, everything is at your fingertips. At an initial first glance, the building looks Elizabethan or Jacobean with its stone bay windows, leaded casements and tall chimneys, but the beautiful property is the result of an 18th century overhaul that screams classic elegance.
