All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur is a public medical university located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the 20 operational AIIMS in India and one of the four Phase-IV All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced in July 20141. The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all branches of medical science and related fields, along with nursing and paramedical training2. The outpatient department (OPD) started in February 2019, and the first batch of 50 MBBS students started later that year. The university has a total of 800 students.
