Sri Lanka has also faced the world's worst terrorist threat, which has been active in the North and East for nearly three decades. Members of the security forces have sacrificed their lives and bodies for the safety of the people of Sri Lanka. The government has been working since the beginning of the war to rescue members of the security forces and their families who were victims of the Thirty Years' Cursed War by providing them with salaries and allowances. Ranaviru Seva Authority established by Act No. 54 of 1999.

MISSION
To create psychological and social stability for the missing and disabled war heroes and their families who sacrificed their lives to safeguard the unity of Sri Lanka as well as to work for the war heroes (Ranaviru) of the serving war heroes and their families.
