Novi Sad je među prvim gradovima van Evropske unije koji je proglašen za Evropsku prestonicu kulture i tako postao jedan od 60 gradova koji su poneli tu laskavu titulu, negujući bogatstvo različitosti i interkulturalnost.

Glavna ideja programskog narativa „Za nove mostove" sve je vidljivija, sa ciljem da se nekom budućem Novom Sadu ostave čvrsti legati koji unapređuju kulturnu sliku grada: novi programi, novi procesi, angažovani ljudi (građani, kulturne institucije, udruženja, organizacije, umetnici) i novi prostori za kulturu. Zato je vizija projekta: „Početak Novog. Sada!".

Novi Sad is among the first cities outside the European Union to be designated the European Capital of Culture and thus became one of the 60 cities that took the flattering title, nurishing the wealth of diversity and interculturalism.

The main idea of the '4 New Bridges' programme narative is more and more visible, with the aim of leaving firm legacies that improve the cultural image of the city to some future Novi Sad: new programmes, new processes, engaged people (citizens, cultural institutions, associations, organisations, artists) and new spaces for culture. Therefore the vision of the project is: 'The beginning of the New. Now!'.
