NSC ISSAR is a leading scientific and methodological center that leads and coordinates research work on the problems of soil science, agrochemistry and soil protection of more than 20 institutions of the NAAS, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ministry of Education.
The Institute is recognized as the main one in the country on the problems of soil science, agrochemistry and soil protection, it employs 168 employees, including 3 academicians, 1 corresponding member of the NAAS, 9 doctors and 33 candidates of sciences.
