Perched high looking across the Beamish conservation valley lies Red Row Estate - a glorious 37 acre sprawl with lavender field and woodland, riddled with wildlife and farmyard antiques, and home to the Black Horse Beamish, The Orchard Marquee, Red Row Retreat, Row Row Suites and Huckleberry Cottage.

Beautifully restored, our 300 year old pub retains all of its charm and atmosphere, welcoming you with its open fires, flag stone flooring, and a clever mix of eclectic furniture. The bar is well stocked with delicious real ales and fine wines. The kitchen makes use of the estate's generous 37 acres, boasting paddocks, orchards, vegetable and herb gardens to stock the pantry with the freshest organic produce.

We are the ideal spot for a family break with 15 rooms and self-catered cottages. There's so much for kids of all ages to see and do. We are only a stone's throw away from Beamish Museum and Tanfield Railway, take a walk around the local countryside where kids can burn off steam or head out further afield to the nearby beautiful Northumberland Coast and Keilder.
Ranging in size, each of our self catering cottages offer a fully-fitted kitchen with dining area, underfloor heating, living areas, sumptuous sofas, super king-sized bedrooms, outdoor seating areas with stunning views and plenty of room to relax in a luxurious home away from home.
Although each cottage comes fully equipped for independent living, guests of can also enjoy the use of the Black Horse Beamish, where crackling fireplaces, indulgent dining and tranquil gardens beckon after long days of exploring.

We are a unique venue with great flexibility that can be booked for any occasion whether it be an intimate dinner for two, a wedding reception or ceremony, business lunch, family celebration, funerals or large corporate event. Whatever the occasion, the facilities available are endless, whether it be inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs, formal or informal an area can be reserved.
