BioRex Cinemas is the second largest cinema chain operating in Finland. It´s theatres are situated in middle sized and smaller markets like Porvoo, Hämeenlinna and Rovaniemi. The biggest unit is in the west coast of Finland in Vaasa as well as the smallest of the theatres, which is situated in the city of Pietarsaari.

The company started out from city of Kajaani in 2004 and since then has been growing rapidly. In the present the chain has ten (10) theatres across Finland, which of BioRex Hämeenlinna and BioRex Tornio are currently under construction to be enlarged during the year 2018.

BioRex takes pride in building modern, open concenpt theatres that have state of the art technique and spacious, wide and comfy seats to accomodate even the most demaning customers. BioRex´s speciality are PRIME™ -auditoriums equipped with Dolby Atmos and extra wide seats, REX™ -auditoriums that offer the viewer wider seats with more leg and arm space as well as PLUS -seats, that are placed in the centre of auditoriums, also wider and more space in the leg and arm department.

BioRex Cinemas is part of Svenska Bio, a large cinema operator, that has well over 30 movie theatres across Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
