In comparison to other regions of the world, sub-Saharan Africa has the lowest ratings for well-being and the lowest satisfaction with healthcare.

Prosperity Health Ventures ("PHV") was established in late 2020 to address some of the identified inefficiencies through digital solutions specifically aimed at improving delivery of healthcare and overall patient satisfaction.

We launched our first product besaCare in Ghana in 2021 - a SaaS platform for clinics to improve efficiency and reduces waiting time for patients in clinics.

Our personal experiences in availing healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa set the foundation for PHV. After several months of on-the-ground research we were convinced that technology can provide people access to quality and trusted healthcare in a timely manner despite limitations posed by the markets in terms of availability of qualified personnel and infrastructure.

We believe that technology is needed to add transparency and accountability in the healthcare system.

Our team is passionate about healthcare, technology, and Africa. We are a start-up that has brought together talented individuals from diverse backgrounds that share a common vision and the desire to drive impact.
