A rising star among startups, Riff Cold Brewed Coffee of Bend, Oregon, is the invention of Stumptown's former director of cold brew product development and Crux Fermentation Project's co-founder. This dream team brews with cold water instead of hot water, which takes its own sweet time producing its own sweet coffee – noticeably smoother, more chocolaty and less acidic than coffee brewed hot."
