DATATEC is an accredited Institution basically for skill based education with its corporate office at Mavelikara and having branches in Mavelikara, Punalur , Kayamkulam Pathanapuram , Since its inception in 1987, it is known for its academic excellence and Govt/University affiliations point towards quality of its academic infrastructure. It acts as Affiliated Industrial Training Institute for IT courses and Approved Vocational Training Provider (VTP) for providing various NCVT courses. DATATEC has the distinction of being SDE of BHARATHIYAR UNIVERSITY, Programmes offering Science and Management Courses at Diploma/Graduate /Post Graduate levels This Institution is also enlisted as an Off Campus Examination Centre of Distant Education under various Universities.

DATATEC offers regular, weekend and self learning programmes in the fields of IT and Management like,MBA,MCA,MSc,,BBA,BCA,BSc,BCom and provides Certiicate level Engineering Courses in Civil/Mechanical/Automobile and Electrical for those who do not get an opportunity for formal education in Polytechnics, Engineering Colleges and Universities. All these Engineering courses are based on KGCE certifications. DATATEC campuses acts as authorized training centers of CDIT and CDAC ,conducting various IT and Management courses. Various IT campuses run under DATATEC Trust spread around four districts. Over last 10 years it has evolved into a multidimensional organization.
