Govt. Polytechnic Dehradun (often abbreviated as GPD or GP Dehradun), is a State Government-run Public Institute situated in the City of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The Institution is being run in both Hindi & English Medium modes.

Students from all over the U'khand State are studying in the Institute. The current strenght of the Institution (as per the year 2020) is 1,200. Admission are given on the basis of the result of the Joint Entrance Exam Of Polytechnic (JEEP) that is conducted by authority organization UBTER throughtout the state.

The campus is hosting Diploma in Engineering (i.e, Polytechnic) and Pharmacy Programs currently. In Engineering, Institute has CE, ME, AE, ECE, IT & CS. Engineering Diploma course duration is 3 Year & for pharmacy (D.Pharma), it is 2 years.
