Amira is an Iraqi family owned industrial conglomerate, founded in the early sixties in Baghdad, Iraq, as a manufacturer of stainless-steel products for the local and regional market. Amira at the time also established one of the first iron works and forges in Iraq known as the Iron Works Factory.

Currently Amira is active in many regions of the world in a variety of industries, such as Oil & Gas (conventional/unconventional, upstream/downstream sectors), and Security & Logistics Services.

Amira possess a proven track record of safely developing and operating projects in a cost effective and efficient manner, whilst being socially responsible within its spheres of influence incorporating technology, knowledge and skills transfer as well as local and social content.

Amira currently boasts relationships with a number of the world's renowned corporations and has several strategic joint ventures with leading international corporations for the MENA region.
