Blythe Development, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is a licensed general contractor specializing in site work, road and bridge construction, aviation and transit projects in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The company has an asphalt division that includes three plants in the Charlotte region with a fourth to open later this year.
Founded by brothers Jack and Frank Blythe in 1989, Blythe became an employee owned company in March 2024. Blythe performs over $260 million in work each year including construction of major interstate, bridge, highway and thoroughfare, greenway, aviation, and sitework projects for commercial, institutional and residential clients.
