The MDI Biological Laboratory, located in Bar Harbor, Maine, is an independent, non-profit biomedical research institution focused on increasing healthy lifespan by slowing the aging process and enhancing our natural ability to repair and regenerate tissues damaged by injury or disease.
We develop solutions to complex human and environmental health problems through research and education, and our innovative and collaborative approach encourages shared learning and is based on the recognition that all life is interconnected.
