Dal 1959 Fiudi sviluppa e realizza utensili STANDARD e SPECIALI in diamante naturale, policristallino (PCD) e PcBN per la tornitura, fresatura, l'alesatura e la rettifica che possono lavorare sia materiale ferrosi (acciaio e ghisa) che altri materiali come alluminio e l'oro.
Dal 2005 l'azienda si è dotata della tecnologia necessaria per lavorare il titanio. Siamo tra le poche aziende che possono produrre frese in titanio adatte per tutte quelle lavorazioni dove è richiesta altissima precisione e dove servono particolari condizioni di velocità di taglio. Questo particolare tipo di frese viene normalmente utilizzato in ambiente aeronautico, anche se iniziano ad essere apprezzate anche in altri mondi come quello automotive e medicale.

Since 1959 Fiudi is specialized in developing and manufacturing STANDARD and SPECIAL tools for chipping removal in MONOCRYSTAL, PCD,PcBN for Turning, Milling, Boring and Grinding operations on ferrous (Steel, cast iron), and non ferrous materials (Aluminum,Brass).
Thanking to its characteristics super-abrasive is frequently used as anti-wear.
We are also one of the few company that can produce integral milling cutters made in titanium.
This new type of material is used for high-end parts, not just components used in aircraft's frame and engine, but also medical parts. Another, broader reason for covering titanium milling related to the procedures for machining effectively when the material is difficult to cut or the available speed is low.
