AvMap was established in Italy in 1994 within the TWS Group, active in the sector of assisted navigation since 1984, and which included C-MAP, the world leader in electronic charting technology.

One of the pioneers of GPS technology and satellite navigation, AvMap keeps on manufacturing in Italy high-quality electronics and telematics solutions for any type of environment: land, sea, sky.

Since 1994 it has been leading the development of technologies to improve safety in every sector of mobility and is committed to transferring technological advances into all fields of application, from avionics, to the automotive sector, to marine electronics, to intelligent agriculture, waste management and smart cities.
