Distinct Engineering Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is a multidisciplinary engineering firm, providing engineering design and consulting services in the disciplines of Geotechnical, Environmental, Site-Civil, Construction Inspections, and Environmental Consulting. DESI provides services for both public and private sector clients throughout New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and the New York Metropolitan area from our main office in North Brunswick, NJ (headquarters) and satellite offices in New York & Connecticut. DESI has provided professional services to projects of varying magnitude and complexity. Our outside the box thinking and innovative approach has gained us recognition by our peers in the form of multiple awards up to the Diamond level from ACEC NY. DESI has been participating in Design Build and P3 Projects.

Founded in 2008, DESI employs individuals who possess strong academic qualifications and practical experience. In order to best serve our clients, DESI approaches project issues collaboratively, with a combination of innovation, knowledge and skill, to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions while maintaining cost effectiveness. We train our field personnel to have a clear understanding of both the technical aspects of design, and the practical aspects of construction. DESI applies the same degree of professionalism and interest to all projects, regardless of size and scope. By providing a diverse array of integrated services in-house, DESI simplifies the coordination effort and streamlines the approval process. We encourage new talent to be part of our team.

DESI is registered with the New York City Department of Buildings as a Special Inspection Agency (License #002641), AASHTO Accredited concrete and soil testing laboratory is approved by NYC DOB and NJ DPMC. DESI is certified as a Minority/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MBE/DBE) in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut; and as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) in New Jersey.
