About

DACERO gathers a wide know-how in the transformation and manufacturing of tailor made siderurgical products after more than 40 years adding value in the metallurgical industry.

DACERO´s two production sites in Gijón and Avilés (Asturias; northwest area of Spain), reach more than 110.000 m2 surface and are strategically located. For instance, Gijon´s plant is situated a few hundred meters away from Arcelor Mittal´s steel mill, rail connected to it. In addition, they are both close to the main commercial ports of the region.

An experienced human team, a clear commitment towards safety, quality and the environment, continuous improvement policies and modern facilities allow DACERO to process up to 300.000 t annually and being a key-player steel services center that counts with the following operations:

· Raw material supply management (steel plate and steel profiles)
· Cutting (oxy-fuel, HD plasma, laser, shear and profiles cutting)
· Bevelling and countour machining
· Cold forming (press cold forming, shell flattening, bending, plate and profiles rolling)
· Surface treatments (automatic line for blasting and shop-primer application)
· Plate marking and outlining
· Welded manufacturing (semi automatic and robotic welding)
· Automatic line for tailor-made beams manufacturing (SAW)
· Transport and logistics

Combining this operations, we are able to supply steel parts or sets by demand for multiple sectors such us:
