In 1994, Sunfood pioneered the superfood movement into the natural foods space with just a handful of products in San Diego, CA. Why? To challenge the processed food industry's status quo and dismantle the belief that the use of unnatural ingredients, added sugars and harmful ingredients in products shouldn't be accepted as normal.

Today, our family-owned and operated business manufactures over 90 SKUs across functional food, supplement and grocery categories. Our commitment to sustainably and responsibly sourcing the highest quality ingredients has been the foundation of our brand, an ethos that has been unchanged after 25 years.

We believe the key to good health, natural energy and long life is diet and nutrition. We believe Mother Nature has provided an abundance of diverse, nutritionally-rich plant based foods that can be sustainably grown and harvested for the benefit of human-kind. We believe in the restorative and healing power of superfoods.
