About
We operate with 45 members, out of one station and protect 4.6 square miles, which is our primary response area. Our department is a public department with paid on-call members. We provide fire protection and first response EMS service to the residents of Essex Junction and responds to over 500 call per year. The department operates with two engines (one equipped with extrication equipment), a 105-foot ladder/pumper and a Utility Truck. The department responds automatic mutual aid with Essex Fire and recieves and provides additional assistance to Williston, Colchester & Winooski Fire Department
