In 1921, Hoffman Auto Group was founded by brothers Israel and Barney Hoffman with the acquisition of a Ford franchise in New Hartford, CT. After nearly 100 years and with the third and fourth generations leading the company, Hoffman Auto Group is regarded as one of the most successful family owned businesses in the state. With locations in four Connecticut towns – East Hartford, Avon/Simsbury, New London and Waterbury – the company employs over 570 individuals and demonstrates a robust commitment to the community through its philanthropy. All employees are encouraged and provided opportunities to give back to the community through volunteering; and eligible employees receive one full day of pay every year to serve a local non-profit organization.
