Our regular local patrons describe our dining room like they are sitting at home eating a great meal! Come by lunch or dinner and enjoy homemade comfort food such as home-style meatloaf, chicken, fried chicken, Louisiana crab cake, chicken liver basket, and black-eyed peas; chicken and crawfish salads, mahi mahi sandwich, "790"​ burger, turkey poor-boy, shrimp poor-boy, triple decker club, or big city Reuben sandwiches, four types of delicious gumbo, Louisiana favorites such as Lafayette red beans and rice, catfish acadiana, Creole smoked chicken & andouille sausage, crawfish and andouille pasta, shrimp, "crescent city"​ muffaletta, New Orleans shrimp creole combined with seafood specialties including the succulent shrimp platter, fillet of mahi mahi, fillet of Alaskan salmon, seafood platter, catfish platter or sushi grade tuna steak!

We have Cajun food, meatloaf food, creole shrimp food. We are considered to be seafood restaurant / catering restaurant. We are also a beach wedding restaurant.

"My roommate and I ordered take-out gumbo from here earlier this week and it was definitely some of the best I've ever had. We tried both the "Shrimp and Crawfish"​ as well as the "Duck and Andouille Sausage"​ varieties.

I preferred the shrimp and he liked the duck better, so it's a toss-up as to which is better. I should note that the duck and andouille had apparently just won some award for best gumbo at a local cook-off and the waitress mentioned that it takes a week to make. Now that's dedication! I definitely recommend giving this place a try."​
