Young Kim for Congress

About

We offer an opportunity for college and high school students to participate as an intern on a local congressional campaign for Congresswoman Young Kim's reelection in California's 40th Congressional District. We offer flexible shifts (in-person is preferred, but we have hybrid opportunities as well) out of our campaign office located at 3532 E. Chapman Ave. Orange, CA 92869. We really like to highlight the aspects of the internship that focus on learning what a congressional election is, why it matters and the voter engagement process. This internship is a great opportunity to complement any government/politics courses or social science courses. Additionally, a member from our team is able to come and do a presentation about the internship to your class or group of students to answer any questions in person, if permitted.

An added benefit of this internship for young people is the confidence boosting aspect it does for those that are more shy or anxious about social interaction or public speaking. We have seen several interns become a lot more confident as they have interned with the campaign so far this year, and this is just an added benefit.
