About

Founded in about 1972 by Dr. Joseph Dello Russo, the New Jersey Eye Center has grown to become a multi-disciplinary practice. Today it boasts a full ophthalmic staff that includes optometrists for routine eye care, a specialist in glaucoma and a retina specialist with a concentration in the area of diabetic eye problems and macular degeneration. Its on-site full surgical suite is staffed by cataract surgeons, operating room RNs and board certified anesthesiologists who perform cataract surgeries as well as routine ophthalmic procedures. An optical shop with a fashionable selection of prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses is available at the ground floor. New Jersey Eye Center participates with Medicare and all major insurances and vision plans. For the benefit of patients without insurance we provide interest free patient financing.
