Clip Strip Corp. was founded in 1980 when its founder, Edward D. Spitaletta, had an idea that would revolutionize retail merchandising. After extensive research and development in the 1970's, he and his team developed a point of purchase merchandising tool that would take "dead space" along the edges of retail shelving and displays and turn them into areas to sell, cross sell and upsell. Hence, the very first merchandising strip – the original Clip Strip ® Brand Merchandising Strip, was born. This product and Clip Strip Corp. the organization has aided in the sales of hundreds of billions of dollars in product for thousands of global consumer product manufacturers and retailers. Thirty five years later, the Clip Strip® Brand Merchandiser is still one of the most popular merchandising tools utilized globally. The company has since branched out to bring its customers even more opportunities to influence its customers' purchases through an extensive line of sign holders, hang tabs, shelf dividers, peg hooks, literature holders and POP display construction components.
