In 1926, Marin Caratan and his brother planted their first vines in the San Joaquin Valley, an ideal area for producing the finest quality grapes. Their farm soon became known as an inclusive and exceptional place to work. In 2018, Columbine Vineyards was acquired by Agriculture Capital and became a part of the AC Foods Family which comprises a portfolio of consumer-driven, vertically integrated, appropriately scaled and regenerative businesses that support the planet and communities in which they operate. With a respect for the original founders, Columbine® Vineyards continues to advance this legacy of dedication, hard work, and love. Through stewardship of soil, sustainable growing practices, and a unique breeding program that has brought Holiday® and Milano® varieties to stores, we've always looked to the future while honoring the past.
