Newport has been delivering software solutions to the intermodal industry since 1996. As a SaaS company, we have been providing technological advancements to the intermodal industry in the area of equipment management and maintenance and repair (M&R). Our collaborative vison and mission have been to streamline the processing of M&R work orders and reefer-related services in the supply chain. These solutions provide a holistic approach facilitating real-time event communication and services to equipment owners, leasing companies and vendors including terminal and depots.

To further strengthen our commitment and capability, Newport was acquired by Shore Points Capital in July of 2020. Under their leadership Newport has been fully reengineered and rebranded NSi. NSi leverages the power of information through developed NSi-MODAL technologies that provide better business intelligence and improved supply chain management.
