Scope of Activities:
• Compilation of programmes, implementation, evaluation, and analysis of water resources research and
development products.
• Study on the application of water resources technology.
• Collection, and processing water resources data.
• Implementation of quality testing and preparation of technical advices and services in the field of water
resources environment, hydrology, hydraulic structures and water resources geotechnical engineering,
rivers and Sabo engineering, coastal area and swamps as well as irrigation development and
management
• Standardization of water resources development and management
• Capacity building of human resources in water resources development and management.
• Dissemination and socialization of water resources research and development products.
• Development of corporation and public services in water resources R&D.
