About
Northpoint Development Bank is the youngest of the different companies under the Ongtenco Group. The corporation started from modest roots. In the early 80's the Ongtenco family had a spare parts shop in Daet, Camarines Norte.
The business became successful so they kept it even after they have started several businesses. After that they came up with an Inter-trust financing business which gave birth to three other businesses in Manila which in turn became Fundline Finance Corporation on 1998, during this year the corporation also managed to acquire another business, Bank of Makati which was a small rural bank, but now it's already the biggest rural bank in the nation.
