Al Watan is a daily political, economic and comprehensive newspaper, as well as the highest penetrating local newspaper in Bahrain since its first issued in December the 10th, 2005, according to specialized institutions in newspapers distribution.

Within few years, Al Watan became the most reliable source of information for the Bahraini readers as regards local, international, economic and sport news.

Believing in the importance of the new media, Al Watan launched in 2010 Its online news website in order to provide an online news service and allowing more interaction with the readers through receiving and publishing their views and opening doors for civilized national dialogue.

صحيفة الوطن البحرينية، صحيفة يومية شاملة تفاعلية، تعد الصحيفة المحلية الأسرع انتشارا في البحرين منذ بداية صدورها في 10 ديسمبر 2005 حسب شركات التحقق من الانتشار.
واستطاعت الوطن خلال سنوات معدودة أن تكون مصدر المعلومات الأكثر موثوقية للقارئ البحريني فيما يتعلق بالأخبار المحلية والخارجية، والأخبار الاقتصادية والرياضية، مستفيدة مما أتاحه المشروع الإصلاحي الشامل لجلالة ملك البحرين المفدى من حريات صحفية واسعة كفلها الدستور والقانون.
وإيمانا من الصحيفة بأهمية الإعلام الإلكتروني، أطلقت في 2010 صحيفة الوطن الإلكترونية لتقديم خدمة إخبارية آنية وزيادة التفاعل مع القراء إلى الحد الأقصى، عبر تلقي ونشر آرائهم وإتاحة المجال للحوارات الوطنية الحضارية. وترتبط الصحيفة الالكترونية بمختلف مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي إضافة إلى خدمة إخبارية عبر أجهزة البلاكبيري.
