Garnier-Thiebaut has over 190 years of experience in manufacturing luxury linens and textiles. By having our own design team, a vertical manufacturing process, unique qualities to the water used in manufacturing, and an excellent team driving Garnier-Thiebaut's success we have created a brand that is sought after, highly recognized for its accomplishments, and well-known worldwide. We are committed to quality management obtained through strong customer support, employee motivation, management commitment, the process approach, and continuous improvement. Garnier-Thiebaut Inc. is part of HDM Finance Group, a family-owned business since 1723. It is the 13th generation operating the company, and HDM is one of the biggest textile groups in Europe for the hospitality industry. Garnier-Thiebaut is the only company among the HDM group with a retail and hospitality division, both of them with a strong presence around the world. For retail, we introduce two new collections each year; designed, dyed, weaved, mercerized, bleached, cut, and sewn into beautiful products in Geradmer, France.
Garnier-Thiebaut Inc. was created in the US in 2001. In 2007 we moved our headquarters from New York to Arlington. In 2010 we completed the acquisition of Hilden America Inc. located in South Boston VA, including the warehouse and the sewing room. In 2012 we moved and expanded our headquarters in Crystal City VA, and opened a new showroom.
Garnier-Thiebaut has implemented a strategic approach to sustainably by improving its environmental-impacted processes: manufacturing, product design, and training of all employees. We also decided to get the ISO14001 certification in October 2017.
