About

Dubbed as the first private medical college in Yemen, Al-Nasser University was first established in 2007 previously known as the "Al-Nasser of Medical Sciences" specializing in three major fields; namely: pharmacy, health community and laboratories. In three years' time, the college grew in popularity known for its quality medical education and scientific performance. The college earned the respect of professors, academics and other institutions including parents and students making the college first in line as the name of the institution to suit the society's need for other disciplines and fields of specialization thereby allowing the college to contribute to the development of the country. From this known reputation, the Al-Nasser University was born as three new faculties were created.

These faculties include the Faculty of Humanities; Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences; and the faculty of Business and Finance. Housed in two campuses; the first campus is the home of the university's medical sciences and Human sciences colleges as the second campus is the home of the Engineering and Computer Sciences college along with the world renowned Computer Science Institution also known as "Aptech".

At Al-Nasser University, we specialize on practical work to make sure that students have a hands-on application of the theoretical knowledge they learn in the classroom. We are more than just classrooms and textbooks making the university the platform of encouragement to aim and achieve higher; take greater risks and achieve more – a culture that the university clinch on from the student's first day to graduation.
