Watan Group is one of the largest and most successful group of companies in Afghanistan. With a core focus on providing services to assist the development and long term sustainability of Afghanistan, Watan Group is the umbrella company for its seven subsidiary companies including;

Watan Oil and Gas is an exploratory, development and production company involved in the Oil and Gas sector. Divided into three main segments: Exploration and Production; Refining and Marketing; and Gas and Power, the business segments are able to operate across all regions of Afghanistan. Watan Oil and Gas partnered with China National Petroleum Company (CNPC) were successful in their joint venture bid, which in December 2011 received Afghanistan's first big contract for oil field exploration and development. The three oil fields estimated to contain 87 million barrels of oil.

Afghan Watan Risk Management (AWRM) the groups security and risk management arm. Meraj Mineral Mining resources (MMMR) its mining division, ADI Logistics is transportation division, AMP Trading its import and export license company, Sino-Afghan Steel is a steel smelting and re-rolling company and ECC construction.
