The Hays Caldwell Economic Development Partnership (HCEDP) is the lead regional economic development organization representing the City of San Marcos, Hays and Caldwell Counties, and the communities within the two county footprint. HCEDP's mission is to be a force for positive economic change by attracting and growing quality jobs and investment. This mission is accomplished through a five-year economic development strategy called Vision2020, which identifies ways to grow the regional economy through promotion, job growth through business recruitment and expansion, small business development, workforce development and place-making.
