RER Energy Group is a national leader in solar energy based in Frederick, MD, Reading, PA and Cedar Valley, IA.
We design, build, finance and sell cost efficient and quality solar energy systems to mid-sized commercial and non-profit organizations. Our mission is to educate clients on optimal ways to obtain solar energy savings. We pursue our mission by focusing on the client's needs and working relentlessly to find innovative solutions that lead to more savings through solar.

We are a rapidly growing company in a fast paced and exciting market. The U.S. energy grid is undergoing massive transformation and we are at the front lines of these changes. RER Energy Group has developed the largest community solar array in Iowa, the largest school district array in New York, was recently ranked the #1 commercial solar developer in Pennsylvania and is one of the Inc. 5000 Fastest growing companies in America.

To date, we have developed more than 30 Megawatts (MW) of solar arrays for over 100 organizations, throughout the United States and Mexico. To fund these projects we have assisted our clients in securing more than $25 million in State and Federal grants and incentives. We partner with a range of financial investors and work hard to provide appropriate returns to these investors while still maximizing our customer's savings with solar.

Our commitment to ‘do both' -- provide returns to investors AND maximize savings for solar clients - has led us to develop innovations in financing structures, platforms and partnerships. These efforts were recognized with a prestigious SunShot grant from the Department of Energy through our sister company, Sunvestment Energy Group.
