About
Friends School of Baltimore is a coeducational, Quaker college preparatory day school serving students in grades Pre-K through 12. Guided by the values of integrity, equality, simplicity, community, stewardship and peaceful resolution of conflict, the School sets for its students high standards of excellence within a caring and inclusive environment. Friends was founded in 1784 and is at once Baltimore's oldest and most forward-looking school. The core belief that there is "that of God" in everyone, and the School's culture of seeking truth, of engaging with people from different backgrounds, and of serving others remain central to a Friends education.
