Through its work and effort in the field of higher education ever since its establishment in 2005, the College of Applied Sciences "Lavoslav Ružička" in Vukovar has become a recognized institution of higher education in the Croatian Danube region. It is characterized not only by the high quality of its educational and scientific processes, but also by the integration of theory and practice in fields of biomedicine, health, economy, and public administration. Preservation of its reputation and the highest educational standards based on key European values is very important to the College, especially because it was named after Lavoslav (Leopold) Ružička, a distinguished Croatian chemist and the first Croatian to win the Nobel Prize. College of Applied Sciences "Lavoslav Ružička" in Vukovar is a contemporary higher education institution whose services are based on the experiences of a great number of scientists, teachers and experts from the fields of economy, law, biomedicine, and kinesiology.
