About
Since 2006, Akron's mission is to provide GMP-compliant materials and services that enable innovators to develop and commercialize advanced therapies. Along with its line of GMP quality cytokines, growth factors, blood-derived products, and custom media, Akron specializes in manufacturing custom plasmids and endonucleases to support viral vector and gene editing technologies. Akron's newly opened 110,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility operates in line with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and Eudralex Vol 4 Annex 11 standards. Akron provides advanced therapy developers the scale, compliance, flexibility, and regulatory support to develop novel technologies from pre-clinical through to commercialization.
