Melimex, the parent company of Verde Calabria, and its affiliated nurseries maintain a steady output of olive trees in the Southern tip of Italy and Sicily.
Verde Calabria srl is managed by Aldo, Pio and Roberto Amoroso, and the brothers grow 100% of every tree they ship. Verde Calabria - Società Agricola is an actual operational tree farm located in Vibo Valentia, Italy. You can rest assured that they are the real deal and the source.
In addition, we have an extensive network of partner nurseries, this allows us to respond rapidly to the needs of customers and deliver solutions on-site and in short order. We sell our trees both at the Dutch Flower Auctions as well as directly to customers such as supermarkets and wholesalers. Our main markets are in the EU. We keep our supply updated with fresh stock all season long, and transport at least one delivery of new trees each week to our distribution centre in the Netherlands.

All of our trees have the EU plant passport certification, so they can be shipped to most destinations in Western Europe.

We grow and collect our own trees, there is no middle man with us, everything we sell we grow. The company's unique ability to control the production process from growing to exporting permits us to make long-term business plans, accurately forecast crop yields, and provides an altogether quality product. All of these factors allow Verde Calabria to offer greater value to its customers.
