About

Enfield Carers Centre (ECC) is a local charity offering essential support and advice services for unpaid/family Carers who live in Enfield or are caring for an Enfield resident. Carers provide unpaid support to people who could not manage without them – 3 out of 5 of us will be Carers for a loved one at some point in our lives.

The Carers Centre is a one-stop shop for both Adult and Young Carers from the age of 5 as it provides a wide range of support services including, Information & Advice, Care-At-Home Services, Counselling, Support Groups, Training, Carers' Breaks, Young Carers Evening Hubs and Homework Clubs and a GP or Hospital Liaison service.

The Centre is also Enfield Council's appointed Trusted Assessor for Carers Assessments. This means we help Carers who are caring for an adult with needs to discuss the impact that caring has on their life, health and wellbeing. The aim of a statutory Carers Assessment is to identify what else can be done to support a carer to enjoy a life outside caring and to ensure their own health and wellbeing doesn't suffer.
