Reasoning Mind

About

Reasoning Mind is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing a first-rate math education for every child. To achieve this, the organization develops blended learning mathematics programs for elementary and middle school and works with schools to implement these programs in classrooms.

Today's education technology programs typically focus on individual features of learning, such as individualization, visual learning, or educational games. We believe that this is insufficient: instead, it is essential to identify all of the variables in student learning, and then to develop approaches that comprehensively address them all. This includes strong curriculum, teacher preparation, and student engagement. In other words, to truly improve learning, we have to solve for every variable.

This year alone, over 100,000 students will benefit from Reasoning Mind. The program is supported by hundreds of leading philanthropies, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Cockrell Foundation, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, the Hoglund Foundation, and the Houston Endowment.
