Founded in 1999, the Group is privately held with global headquarters in Southfield, MI, USA. Angstrom offers a diverse product portfolio concentrating in three segments: Metal-formed components (Steel and Aluminum), Resin based parts (Plastic, Fiber and Polyurethane Foam), and Electrical (Wire Harness, Battery Cable, and Lighting). There are 31 locations across 15 companies, including the USA, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Germany and Hungary. Angstrom supports over 4000 employees worldwide across all its held companies.
Company History:

1999 – Established Angstrom USA – Taylor, Michigan USA

2005 – Started Driveshaft Tubes, Stainless Tubes, Universal Joint Bearing Assembly

2010 – Started Driveshaft Assemblies, Power Telescopic Steering Tubes

2010 – 2015 Acquired Metal Formed businesses including: Stamping, Machining, Forging, Casting (USA/Europe)

2015 - Launch of Steering Systems for Light Vehicle OEM market.

2018 – 2020 Acquired Resin product businesses including Plastic Injection and Polyurethane Foam products (USA)

2020 - 2022 Acquired Electrical and Lighting businesses, Battery Cables & Wire Harness (USA/Mexico/Brazil)

2022 – 2023 Acquired Resin product in Compressed Fiber products (USA/Canada)

2024 – Acquired Metal Formed business for Aluminum Castings (USA/Mexico)

Angstrom Automotive Group now consists of 15 individual companies across three continents, globally supplying more than 200 customers.
