Preferred Home Care, a Help at Home company, was originally founded by a dedicated group of healthcare professionals in New York in 2007 and spread to Florida in 2018 with the vision to become the leading home health agency in Broward, Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Counties. Preferred was acquired in 2022 by Help at Home, a leading national provider of in-home, person-centered care for seniors.

As part of the Help at Home family, we can leverage national operational efficiencies while maintaining our established local presence in Florida. Help at Home has a deep-rooted 45+ year history of providing quality in-home care, which complements the high-quality home care services provided by Preferred and affords us the opportunity to reach a broader client population.
